Julie Garritson

ACCOUNTING

Julie and Dean purchased Green River Cabins in 2006 and relocated to the Upstate SC area. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Meredith College and 20+ years of experience in marketing research, accounting and financial management. In her free time Julie enjoys travelling with Dean, their two girls and family dog.

GEORGE PERKINS, PMP serves as the Plant Manager, Green River Log Cabins. George is a seasoned Senior Operations Manager. He is a degreed engineer and a certified Project Management Professional.

George served throughout the world for years as a Site Manager, Senior Construction Manager and Program Manager – Operations associated with multiple U.S Government contracts.  He has over a decade of experience as a General Manager, Sales Engineer, and Procurement Manager within the Modular and Manufactured Housing Industry.

George is not shy to share that he earned the title and served as an Officer of United States Marines for a dozen years. He is a combat decorated veteran of Operation Desert Storm and participated in expeditionary operations in Lebanon.

George and his bride, Myrna, have been married since 1982.  They claim the honor of parents and grandparents; they have two married daughters and one grandson.

ENGINEERING AND QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

With the exception of the last few years, Tim has been self-employed his entire adult life (from the age of 20). He was a full-time professional photographer for 18 years. Later, he went into the residential remodeling business. Tim was a contractor for about 12 years until he was offered a teaching job. In 2012, he took a job as a college drafting instructor, where he taught for two-and-a-half years. After that, he performed CAD work for a large glass company in Spartanburg, SC. Tim has an associate’s degree in mechanical drafting and also an associate of science degree and is currently working toward a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. His knowledge of residential construction and CAD systems is a big asset to the GRC family.

Todd Garland  DIRECTOR OF SALES/ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Todd joined Green River Cabins with a real estate development and finance background. Todd has spent the last 15 years in Real Estate working for a land development real estate auction firm prior to joining GRC in 2011. He also holds an active real estate license in two states and has been part of numerous multi-million dollar land development transactions.

It’s rewarding  to work for a company that’s builds a high quality, affordable, log cabin.  We really do love working with our customers and want them to have a fun, stress free, buying experience.   We really strive to make it an easy process so you can focus on enjoying your cabin. We are currently working on several new cabin floor plans that we are excited to offer in the coming months.

Cindy Dunham-Tozer

HUMAN RESOURCES/ACCOUNTING

Cindy has joined the Green River Cabins team as the accounting/office manager with over 30 years experience in the accounting field. She has worked about 85% of that time in the manufacturing environment. She loves to work with wood, so it was an easy decision for her to join the GRC team with the smell of sawdust in the air and the high customer satisfaction. She is originally from Michigan, had recently moved to Florida and now has relocated to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains that have the ‘wow’ factor every time she sees them.

 

 

 

 Mike Maher
PURCHASE AND RECEIVING MANAGER

 Mike spent his whole life in Massachusetts-Boston area up until this past summer when he and his wife decided to move to South Carolina.  Mike graduated from University of Massachusetts-Lowell in 2001 with a BA in business.  Since then he has made his career in Purchasing, mainly in manufacturing and R&D development companies.  Along with their three children, Mike his family now reside in Spartanburg, SC.
